X3. Here it is! On Dragoncave, me and some other spriters are working on "Fourth Stage" versions of the existing sprites in use. I love this thing to death.

Phhhp, where did this come from? XD Well, Ah- thank you all that stopped by to leave your supportive comments and congratulations! D: It was really amazing to sign in and see you all saying such nice things. I'm still not sure what to do with myself! @__@;; *ack praise overload ack D:*

I'm sure a lot of artists say this, but, this was really unexpected! Basically, let me say this to all the artists out there, pixel and otherwise- You, too, can get a DD through a stroke of dumb luck, like me! XB Naw, naw, I'm sure the work you put into it pays off, too. Everybody, put your heart and soul into your pixels! And mostly, do it first and foremost to make yourself happy. :3

Oh! I also got a print request for this; right now it's not at a high enough resolution, but this summer I was planning on opening commissions and prints anyway. Expect an update via journal sometime soon concerning that.

The motion in Ascended Water Dragon by ~Komodo-342 is what really catches your eye at first, but once you look at the detail placed into the under water parts of the dragon you can really see the detail and care this artist put into their work. (Suggested by =Askrata and Featured by ^armaina)

Yep, scales... X3. My strategy is to put light dots all over the place. XD. Textures are easy once you get the hang of them. It's putting them on shapes that can get tricky.

I don't know about Dragon Cave, but that doesn't mean I can't tell this is an awesome piece of art! :painter:

Water dragons have always been my favorite species of dragons. I can't imagine how long this must've taken to create this magnificent beast.
